Japanese Shoe Brush
Established in 1914 in Tokyo’s Asakusa district, Kanaya Brush has built a reputation as an expert in the field of brush making. Applying traditional techniques, skilled artisans cut each strand of natural hair to craft perfectly contoured brush tips.
For their shoe brushes, Kanaya’s craftsmen carefully pick and blend horse hair to create a soft to medium firmness. With a beech wood handle, these brushes are equally suited to dry brushing to remove dirt and to polishing with shoe polish.
Marked with the Kanaya stamp.
Keep the brush dry between uses in a non-humid environment. Avoid letting it dry out under the sun as this could cause cracking of the wood.
