Ever eaten an onigiri (rice balls, sometimes wrapped in seaweed, normally with something inside, like salmon)? Well, an ‘onigiri’ is so called because it’s squeezed in to shape in the palm of your hand, and these little beauties are so called because…you squeeze them in the palm of your hand. ‘Nigiri’ = ‘to squeeze’ in Japanese.
Bonsai folk use these snips for ultra small-scale pruning, but they’re also designed for sewing work, cutting and unpicking thread. Use to your crafting delight.
